Know Mahdi (pbuh) before You Die

A Response to the the Article Published at www.iqrasense.com with the title of: "Ashura of Muharram: A Shia and Sunni Muslim Observance:"

What follows is the comment I sent as a reaction to the article published in prior to the Day of Ashura, However, the moderators of the comments did not find it in agreement with their desired aims: The point is that the published comments are mostly against Shia beliefs and priciples:

"Assalamu Alaykum

My Dear Muslim Brothers and Sisters;

I am Shia, when I was reading the article and then the comments, it was really heart-breaking for me to see that still we Muslims have not yet grasped the importance of the dreadful gap looming between different sects of Islam. Above all,  I do strongly believe that as a member of the whole body of Muslims around the world, we should appreciate each others' beliefs and practices as far as they are of highest importance for either of us. First of all, let's recall that we are all indebted to Prophet Muhammad either Sunny or Shiite and It was he who guided us into the path of Islam. Now, let's talk of the differences. Who is Hussein-ibn-Ali (AS)? Who is Hassan-ibn-Ali (AS)? Who is Ali (AS)? Who is Fatima(AS)? These are all, as you know, among the closest members of his family. For Allah's sake, don't you ask why Hussein(AS) set off for Karbala to fight against Yezid? you all know how corrupt was Yezid's system. He wanted to impose Bey'at upon Hussein(AS), but he did not accept it, how is it? Why don't you ask urself that why he and his 72 companions including his 6-month-year old son, Ali Asghar, were all slaughtered in the most brutal way by Yezid's army? Hussein and his followers were boycotted from the water for three days, how is it? Was it done according to an ayah from Quran to kill grandson of Prophet in Muharram in which bloodshed is forbidden? Was not it Prophet Muhammad who emancipated Abu Sofian and his families in Mecca when they were arrested by Muslims? One of the comments really shocked me, it says:

"What happened in history may be important but not as important as compared to the following Verse of Quran. “This day have I perfected your religion for you and completed my favor unto you and have chosen for you as religion Al- Islam (Al-Maida ver.3)” After this aya, there was no need of prophet; if there is no need of prophet then there is no need of any one less than prophet i.e. IMAM’s."

Now I want to draw his attention to the day of Ghadir-e-Khumm in which this aya descended upon holy Prophet. If you read history, you will realize that it was after Prophet appointed Imam ALi (AS) as his Vali that the Prophet's prophecy was completed:

Prophet Muhammad: "man kuntu mawlahu fa `Aliyyun mawlahu"

And the full aya is as follows:

"O Apostle! Deliver what has been sent down to you from your Lord; and if you don't do it, you have not delivered His message (at all); and Allah will protect you from the people ..." (Qur'an 5:67)

The last sentence in the above verse indicates that the Prophet [PBUH] was mindful of the reaction of his people in delivering that message but Allah informs him not to worry, for He will protect His Messenger from people.

Now let's have a brief review of what happened in that day: the Messenger of Allah [PBUH] declared:

"It seems the time approached when I shall be called away (by Allah) and I shall answer that call. I am leaving for you two precious things and if you adhere to them both,  you will never go astray after me. They are the Book of Allah and my Progeny, that is my Ahlul Bayt. The two shall never separate from each other until they come to me by the Pool (of Paradise)."

[See also: Hadith al-Thaqalayn: A Study of its tawatur]

Then the Prophet continued:

"Do I not have more right over the believers than what they have over themselves?"

People cried and answered:

    "Yes, O' Messenger of God."

Then followed the key sentence denoting the clear designation of 'Ali as the leader of the Muslim ummah.  The Prophet [s] held up the hand of 'Ali and said:

"For whoever I am his Leader (mawla), 'Ali is his Leader (mawla)."

Now recall that, Hussein-ibn-Ali(AS) was the son of Ali(AS). And history has not recorded any wrong doing done by him or his reverend family.

Sorry that my comment becomes lengthier than what I expected. Then please be mindful of what you say and what you do. I RESPECT all the Islamic sects, excluding Wahhabi and Baha'i whose creeds are parodic versions of Islam founded by non-Muslims, Imperial powers, in order to display a threateningly distorted face of Islam.

May Allah bestow His blessings upon us, all Muslims."

Now the comment which I really wanted to share with others, though a mere fantasy:

"I want to tell my Muslim brothers and sisters that this is a fake website which serves the colonial and imperial intentions of the WEST. DO NOT WASTE your precious time reading these misleading and incomplete essays whose only aim is to widen the GAP between Shia and Sunni."

". . . now that I could not be with you on the day of Ashura to defend you and fight off your enemies, I shall mourn you every morning and every evening, and I shall weep blood for you instead of tears . . .

Hussein, the grand son of Prophet Muhammad along with his 72 companions including his 6-month-old son, Ali Asghar, were slaughtered by Yezidians in Karbala.

Imam is holding his six-month-old son, Ali Asghar, in front of his face, showing to his enemies that his son is dying of thirst. Yezidians had boycotted them from water. In response, one of the soldiers of Yezid's army aims at the infant's neck and shoots a venomous arrow from his bow, killing him right off.

Hello to the world,

I am back after a looong self-silencing period: what stimulates me to start my discussion with is the heart-breaking news I've just come across when i was checking my Yahoo inbox and that is Obama's winning Nobel Peace (read it ironically) Prize!

To be honest, it was the most surprising as well as the funniest news I've ever heard in my whole life. How is it, is the West going crazy! Who on earth can appreciate such a folly? the world is really fed up with such political tricks by which the West has always tried to decieve the masses! PROPAGANDA is now taken to its limits. President of US, the sole peace maker of the postmodern world: Big Brother: Barack Obama. have mercy on us!

my judicious readers, I will write more specifically about this postmodern joke in the following days. unfortunately i am now so busy with my studies that there is no free time left for further speculation!

This great peace maker leaves the UN when he can not even listen to his counter voice, such as Mahmud Ahmadinejad. Enjoy living in hyper reality of "Animal Farm." needless to quote Orwell when he said: "All animals are equal, but some are more equall."
